Because of You

by Lisa-Dawn Sparling

every time you wrapped your arms around me,
I felt a little safer.
Everytime I kissed your lips,
I felt a little more passion.
Everytime you walked through the door,
I grew more excited.
And with a blink of an eye I lost it all-
And stood in a fast paced world,
scared and all alone.
My lips still warm from your last kiss,
my hands still warm from your last touch.
My heart is barely held together,
my soul is barely breathing,
my whole world is so much emptier.
For you I will keep living,
in anticipation of our next meeting.

Your strength now fills my bones.
I will survive..
because of you.
I will survive...
beacuse of our children
I will survive.....

Describes me perfectly, :( Brilliant work, the fact that she's living for something she cannot have is very sad. And the fact that she's lost it all is hard to recover from. look forward to more of your work.
