Synesthesia by Melina Raven Maness DieboldSeeing words as colored
Sound has flavor
And you can feel
The textures of perfume 03/12/2003 Author's Note: I'm synesthetic. This is roughly how I see the words. Some of the colors I couldn't get quite right, like X is very much like black and white static, and some of the grey letters (O, H, and L) are actually white (H is white with shady edges). I also taste some things with certain sounds...for instance, the sound of a piano is minty, and a saxophone is hot and cinnamony. Also, smells have feelings to me, like Cinnamon is warm, coconut oil is gauzy and thick, and the perfume 'Truth' is very much like clean linens.
