Shattered Angel

by Adrian Calhoun

If she were facing you
with tear stained cheeks,
and a broken spirit,
would you wipe the tears away.

Could you help pickup all the the pieces,
of her shattered heart.

On the outside she may be tough,
but inside, fragile as glass.
She has feelings and emotions,
the same as you.

She is no different,
no less a person,
no less human than you.

Her life has been dark,
but she kept her dreams alive.
Dancing when she can,
gracefully she spins.

You may not understand,
or want to know,
but she has a chance to be happy.

She has a caring spirit,
with a beautiful smile.
Now it is her time to shine,
and rise above all the condemnation.

Tender and compassionate. Says to me none fall so far as to be beyond redemption. Hope is eternal!
