what would you say anyway
you've become truly repetitive darling,
saying the same things that add up to
nothing.
your words lose their meaning in the
light of day anyway
but i can't lie. i am still curious
as to what you would say if you
were to call today or any other day
for that matter but i am no longer
waiting for the phone to ring, no
longer holding my breath waiting to
hear all your words that lose their
meaning as soon as they're thrown
my way. but forgive the girl in me
who still wonders off and on that if
you did call
what would you say to me?
