counting constellations & blessings
and thriving on "what if" 's for the
time-being because that's all i have
for now. and it's enough, more than
enough sometimes. except, except for
lateatnight when the ceiling threatens
to strangle me and my covers refuse to
keep me warm. when i run out of "what
if" 's, when i use up all of the "maybe"s
and settle down somewhere between
"could have" and "should have" because
truly, love, that is the only place i
can find you these days still breathing.
