Strong,
willful,
bordering on violent,
overflowing with passion,
tounge thrusting,
deep and longing
devouring kisses.
Easy to get lost in,
get caught up in,
give over to,
or taken by.
But last night I learned
slow and soft,
quiet
with open eyes
and open hearts
eyelashes
and earlobes
and that spot
where your collar bone meets your breast bone
nothing harsh,
nothing violent,
nothing taken
or stolen.
That in its own right is passion.
There is something to be said for gentle kisses.
