It's hard to smile all the time
And be happy always, too.
It's hard to always be upbeat
Even when I am with you.
It's hard to have to learn to deal
With that one thing for I do not care.
It's hard for me to fall asleep
When a goodnight isn't there.
It's hard to be always happy
All the time.
But It's not hard for me to "deal"
with the love I claim as mine.
And so these things we'll overcome
For love will help us through.
No matter what I find too hard
