I'll Be Seeing You In Heaven by Mary Ellen Smith
I'll be seeing you in Heaven
dear friends I've never met.
where we can bless the Lord together
perfected finally.
Yes, I'll be seeing you in Heaven
where we at last will be
home sweet home for all eternity.
.
look for me in yellow fields
dotted bright
full of light.
I'll be singing with the blooms
Heaven's song
all day long.
tiring never of the bliss
touched by He
who died for me.
.
I'll recognize your spirits
tho I've never seen your face
cause even tho we've never met
we've been running the same race,
and it's the blood of Jesus,
that makes us family
brothers all and sisters
you and me.
.
And I'll be seeing you in Heaven
where we at last will be
home sweet home for all eternity.
04/26/2000 Author's Note: I wrote this a few years ago and struggled with trying to find the words now for the losses of David and Audee... and then the space shuttle tragedy today. In times of sorrow it is good to remember that we do have hope in Jesus Christ. Heaven will be home someday where we will see our friends and family again.
