Topaz and smoke blur
Into purest crystalline blue
I take the moment to watch
The setting sky, driving
In my car, windows
Down, air streaming in
Stinging my face
Hair whips into my eyes
I am blind
And the memory
Slithers and strikes
Im supposed to call tonight
But after the storm last night
Its all been washed away
The suns been out
And dried the rain
Evaporated in the air
Streaming through
My car window.
