distance breaks & builds.
beautiful ugliness seeps through
asphalt, yellow lines.
I-55, and further, further.
sounds of highway lean to be heard.
will never escape it.
can not except it.
travel deemed dirty when moving
away. but,
proper placement for all things
designed to not stay.
