i'm going to transform into something
beautiful, something you will ache to touch

(and i asked aloud, what is wrong with me,
what is wrong with me...and you said, -i can't
believe you said- "everything.")

everything? because ya know, everything is
quite alot. too much in fact. so

ok then, i'm going to work on "everything"
and make it right, make everything right
about me and when you see how i've changed
when you see how beautiful i can be in so
many many ways, you will ache to touch.
(i know that you will ache to touch.)

and when i politely decline because the "right"
me will of course let you down easy, when i
so lovingly turn you down, i hope you ask
with desperation and fragile sadness, i hope
you ask "what is wrong with me"-
i KNOW you will ask and i will kindly (of course
kindly because the "right" me just cannot be
mean..) i will kindly whisper
"everything."
