Valiant in the Rain

by Ryan M Evon

In the cold rain, brave hearts

stand out; with neither fear nor

broken caution; with respect and

honest (if not humbled) appreciation,

while scared hearts shut blinds, oh so

tightly; scorn the rain's uncouth

attitude, to fall whenever it wishes;

inside false reasons and self

reasurance to weather the storm;

whether the storm outside or within

is greater each must decide.

Brave hearts stand out in the

cold rain, and everywhere else.

I like this. You might want to consider putting in a bit more spacing, though.
