Battered and Broken

by Matt Forget

Save me from the wreck-less violence

That pours in each crevice

Seeps through every layer

Of my torn and mangled soul.

Wipe away the tears of frustration

Wired by a battery of evil

Feared with the eyes of loneliness

Endless virtues lie within

Pick up the pieces that bruised my heart

Tortured by passive endangerment

Cast them into the fire

Who killed the sea of eternity

Embrace the nights now stronger

Less weary and less dim

Enter priceless imaginable

Whisking you to an enchantment forever.

Brilliant work, it's really quite visual. And it flows perfectly. Your poem describes me perfectly, if only I had your writing skills to explain it. well done xx
