sweet ignorance by William P Struckehey there confectionary princess; so sweet and innocent.
standing here, before me with your soft sugar lips, blue candy eyes, and golden vanilla hair
not saying hello.
again.
We did go out last week ... or was I just dreaming? perhaps only one of many suitors, looking to taste your candy. so naturally you don't remember that night ad infinitum.
and of course it's only proper for you to stand forever staring at my desire and bluntly turning away
I can hear the soft click of your heel and see the way your hair doesn't flick my way, how your eyes avert quietly brushing off my gaze. noticably strolling into the distance, casually as if I were nothing.
and perhaps I am. 01/19/2003 Posted on 01/20/2003 Copyright © 2024 William P Strucke
