Every song reminds me of you
I can’t stop each note from falling
Heavy on my heart, through absent fingers
That rub the sore spot between my breasts

Constant restlessness, rolling in whispers

That fumbles in its loneliness

You’re as distant as sleep now
Your voice a faint, tinny echo
So unlike me dreams
Drenched in rich colors and woods
Where every song reminds me of you
