You're still a mystery even after all these years
and though it's plain to see, you still make me feel needed

Well it just goes to show that my eyes always still get treated

I'm overconfident, and somehow overwhelmed as well
You're eyes are heaven sent filling me with fear and warmth too
I don't need to explain, you already know what I mean
You took my heart of pain and made it change inside of you

And like the stars above you dance around and shine so brightly
But this cannot be love, words could never describe this right
And with a slanted smile, you show me what makes life worth living
and after every mile you still stop to go fly your kite

You child of wonderment, to you the world just does not exist
You're view's a little bent, I've never heard you say the word can't
Just flash a glance my way, I'm five years old all over again
Don't know the words to say so I'll just have an amorous rant

You make me feel strange, neurotic outside yet calm inside
but I don't want a change since that would not be how we do things
You captivate with charms, one's that I just don't think I have
but there are no alarms because of the happiness she brings

So now let's start the show since our life's always just beginning
Now just so that you know, change happens all the time with her
The gift of ages past, she's my future, past and present
And so the question asked is do I love her, maybe, yeah sure
