Winter's Wonderland by Matt ForgetStabilize yourself
For the calm before the storm
As the lights go out
You sit in silence
As boredom plays its game
The lantern is lit
To see the path for you
The dreams you have
On a beach in the sun
Where no snow falls
Hampered in a powerless world
Dreams fading further
Prospered by almost nothing
Until you cradle yourself
Finding your innermost pleasures
Deep in the depths of your mind
As the thought of power is lost
The visions of passion with him
Sacred enchantment never forgotten
Closer to him as you move
Touch him with your fantasy
Hold him tight with ecstasy
Make him yours to keep you warm
As cold as winters freeze
Closer as you both will go
Tighter, the hold grows stronger
Both laying on the soft carpet
Intimate as two may be
He moves closer to you
Feel his breath
Hear his voice whisper
Prepare to kiss
Into your sea of love
As you open to see his eyes
Slowly before you kiss
A light beats down upon you
The power turned back on
No one there holding you
No one there to kiss
Lying on the floor alone
On a cold winters night. 01/07/2003 Author's Note: I like to play with colors....hehe...
