A Carrolling

by Mary Ellen Smith

All bundled up in winter dress
A carolling we go.
With rosey cheeks and sparkling eyes
Reflecting warm, a Christmas glow.

Our hearts carry the message
Our lips proclaim in song,
Hand in hand and heart to heart
We're carolling along.

the subject, rhythm and rhyme had my mind singing "Here we go a caroling" by the time I finished reading. I wish people carolled around here. = (

Enjoyed reading this lyrical poem about the pleasure of caroling. You express it so well.
