You...

by Beth K Hannah

Words are a complicated game
I cannot seem to master
Or even begin
Sounds audible to the naked ear
Pass through me
Without a scratch
The heaviness of gazes
Seem wasted
And float like lies

You are that boy
That one
The only one who makes me shiver
And twists my skin
Into a sky of blue

You are that boy
That reminds me of the Godfather
Reminds me of guns and cloaks
And a shard of hope

As words halt and morph
Into an oasis where I can begin
You seem irreplaceable
Irregular

Author's Note: I spelled words wrong, I think. I wrote this one in my mind in class, then had to remember it till I got home.

You seem to do rather well at words when writing here. It's impressive that you could compose it in your head, too, I wish my brain worked that well. I'm lucky to remember a line. Anyway, this is interesting and an enjoyable read. :)

looks like everything is spelled perfectly, to me :) and a very non-cliche take on the 'you' subject. there's a fine line, but you managed it well.
