Comfortable Silences

by Anita Mac

He says
"I'm standing in the middle of my room
not talking on the phone,
'cuz you don't really like talking on the phone
and I don't really like talking on the phone
but sometimes we Try anyway..."
and I laugh
and He laughs
and I steal the Poetry straight from his mouth.
But if we didn't not talk on the phone,
when would we not talk?

Comfortable silences are one of life's greatest joys. Milk them for all their worth, okay? *wink*
