it's easy to wear a frown inside out
in your company to always be smiling
somewhere in your hands.

i'd lose control for you atleast twice a day
once a day i may even attempt to really
let you know what i'm thinking.
give you thoughts to tuck away for a rainy day
and i never knew never knew something as
honest as this could possibly be
as soon as i get around to letting you be you
letting me be me.
