insanity by Olivia Weinkeinmake me sick-insane-starved-sex-child
throw me to the fish
your lives are all dimming now
she's sleeping in the ruins
hotelmotel
he broke her lights
and made me promise not to tell
so i didn't.
not today anyway and you know
the way a good friend sometimes makes
you feel that tickle-me-funny laugh-attack
sort of way
well i feel that way yes i do
but only in glimpsed car-wreck fragments of
you when you sit still long enough for me to
breathe
nervy arent we
playing on time and unclear notions
there's noone answering at his house right now
and you're making my dog nervous. 12/09/2002 Author's Note: written sometime in 2000

Posted by Quinn Vokes on 01/11/03 at 07:52 PM wow... this is insane... incredible, though. i love this line, "and you're making my dog nervous." this whole poem has a very edgy, uneasy feeling to it. awesome:) |
