There She Goes Again

by John Harder

once again i leave you
after a difficult goodbye
and a long hard sigh
I left eating candy you gave me
throwing the wrapper in the garbage
as though it were myself
when I'm not with you
This is what we'd been waiting for
and it finally came and went
Like money spent,
it's gone
The smoke cleared
and I'm left standing in the parking lot
with no one to kiss
and no eyes to look into
except the strangers I see
Off I go
Hello goodbye
Just like that

The changes you brought on are quite an improvement. It flows better now:) Nice read!
