Touch Me, Kiss Me, Love Me...Again (to M.S.)

by Melanie A Bennett

I sat outside last night
In the middle of a thunderstorm
Remember how we both loved the rain?
I was in my jeans and my favorite T-shirt
I sat...in the middle of the yard...
In the middle of the rain
Thinking thoughts of you...of us
I have never known these feelings before
These feelings that I feel for you
They are all so new to me
So scary and exciting at the same time
You know I love you
But do you know...how much I long for you?

As the rain soaks through my clothing...to my skin
I shiver and imagine you there with me
I feel your touch...
It's just as real as the rain
I take a deep breath trying to control myself
You make me feel so out of control
It is bad enough that I can't control myself when you are around
But now...in my thoughts...you have complete control
I touch myself...believing and wanting it to be you
Come now...my love
Sit in the rain with me...
Touch me...
Kiss me...
Love me...
Again

I can't believe I am the first to comment on this. I think it is great. I especially love the lines "I feel your touch...it's just as real as the rain" I am a lover of the rain and can hear it on the pavement as I read this.
