scorpions and lions...'oh, what a tangled web we weave'

by Olivia Weinkein

you're playing with something designed to sting.
i'm growing restless and something somewhere
is dying slowly
i can feel its warmth seep through my skin
that has learned on its own to bruise with your
touch and thoughtlessness is dwindling
merely a slight thought in itself
and now i need you to crush me
to pounce
your innocent yet reckless ravaging
never frightening but amusing
and a turn on it's turning me (on)
into something that we both may
not know how to handle but swollen
tongues can go a long way
and who's afraid of a little blood
...?
this is growing, it's seeping everywhere
something monstrous

-afraid of monsters in the dark?-

ok,
so we'll leave the lights on

you're playing with something designed to sting
nobody said this was going to be easy...
