Me

by Ginette T Belle

Pensive, I am
Rough around the edges
But melting like butter
when the sunset strokes my eyes
purple hues, saffire reds
dripping over the sky
like the beauty of someone's soul
on your fresh bruised skin
yes, pensive I am
and although sometimes it causes
burdened nights
I'm not ready to throw myself into the ocean yet

bravo... introspective poems are my favorite... this is visually beautiful and the ending magnificent... blessings...

I like this, its seems passionate and hesitant all at once.
