She gazed from afar
And he did as well
At first an attraction
No one could tell.

Friends they became
And the attraction grew stronger
though other loves led them
To feel for each other even longer

One love fled Her
And His comfort She saught
He helped her though
He helped a lot

Time together they spent
They held each others hands
They both gave in
To their lips' demands

So what happens next
She said with a smile
Neither of them knew
They'd have to wait awhile

Til tomorrow comes
And we learn the way
She will smile
Til the dawn of the day
