Temptation, lust, passion,
Everyone a sin to the soul,
When these sins take over
It is hard not to lose control.
Temptation has a way of
Bewitching the mind,
It is like poison to the soul
That causes human nature to be unkind.
Ashes to ashes
And dust to dust,
Not even the kindest soul
Can forgive for a betrayal to lust.
There can be love or lust in
A moment of passion,
Even though it can be disguised
By the simplest fashion.
All these sins can give pleasure
And may cause the body to feel good,
But the mind is bewitched
And the heart is not understood.
