Wicked You

by Beth K Hannah

Oh, you and your wickedness
And your thievery
And your goals and dreams
You seem to spill your ideas over to me
Snatching them back when I like them
Shoving them at me when I smile

You and your wickedness
And pencil snatching
Basketball playing
And endless discussions with me
That actually make sense

I wish I could share your wickedness
And hold it for a day or two
Feel it in my body
And spread it to the world
And let go of my restraints.

Alas, you are the only wicked
And I am just tempted.
