because i needed that those days to better know
what it is i have now, what i need now
it's a full circle sorta-thing

but i love to love you
will go on loving
even when you figure out that my slipups
are only a stepping stone
only a small piece really to get where we
need to go from here
if you weren't so young i might have tried
to explain it someday
if i weren't so afraid
of all the things you could possibly say
about how i'm not right and this
isn't the way
oh but wait...
