Abuse by Stephanie MyersThe words you've spoken to me,
Heart ache.
Warm salty droplets follow gravity.
Sitting in my soft haven,
Reminiscing about the good,
The terrible enter my mind.
Walking to my back door breathing in the fresh air,
Watching the blue wispy smoke rise.
Turning around and seeing you standing there,
Spitfire heat rises within,
Blushing my face.
Apologies not accepted.
Pummeling my fists into your chest,
Clawing your heart open.
Knowing the truth.
Sweet nothings whispered into your ear,
That I hold in my hand.
Staring at the cob-webbed ceiling above,
Laughing hysterically.
Blue lights, white coats,
Padded floors surround me.
Feeling my matted hair,
And the spittle dried upon my cheek.
They are after all,
Just memories.
