::blue balloon:: by Bethany Lee
you're up too high
in the sky
for me to touch your fabric.
to wrap your silk around my waist
and dance until dawn rises.
why don't you take a landing
on that luscious hill towards the east.
we can take our natural roles,
one being beauty, one being beast.
but your feet must touch the ground,
before the royal curtain rises.
applauses shift on the wind
frightened for lack of encore.
bluehaired angel,
your onstage performance is exhilirating...
continue the infinite contructs,
come back for continuum conversation.
