A Great November

by Matt Forget

Wake me up my November

From the evil nights of eve

Where ghosts and goblins fly the night

And witches to deceive.

Love the veterans true November

From several wars have fought

Remember all who served out nation

And the lessons they have taught

Bring thy strength oh sweet November

Of peace and love to come

A friendly feast for us to eat

Some turkey mixed with rum

Prepare to welcome I say November

Our holidays to bring us cheer

Wrapping up this cherished month

Only to come around next year.

I like it Mat how you summed up all the wonderful moments November holds. Nice read.
