Just Leave by Ryan M EvonPick you up
from cold ground
Bring you to safety,
Evil winds cast away
And still now they try.
Caring hand keeps you here.
Let the sun shine, bring peace
to your twisted state.
So much that was known, is
Now lost, death has its hold.
Travesty, how minute life is.
A whole lives on, but
As only a piece you die.
Yet the whole is nothing
without you, bringing color,
shape and function to existance.
Again the wind tries to carry
Away, use a hand to hold you
Gently. Envy comes dripping in,
Life as you have led pales
So many, you even out shine
The hand that tries to save you.
Bring you out from shelter, let
That wind take you, because
Your strength lets you steer
Towards your next life. Just
Leave, and perhaps your
Hand will be there to hold
This one some other day. 10/30/2002 Posted on 10/30/2002 Copyright © 2025 Ryan M Evon
