Dark Beauty by Dana E BrossardGleaming in the soft candle light.
Rain beading upon the surface.
Slowly it turns and shimmers.
Almost liquid in the quiet night.
Blade shearing to a fine line.
Beauty yet horror,
In the hands of a madman. 10/27/2002 Author's Note: I'm feeling rather dark at the moment.

Posted by Leandra K Brossard on 03/04/03 at 10:48 PM Mmmm.... It just hums to you... the flow and word selection are perfect. It's not too long, it's not too short, it's just perfect in as many ways as there are... I love the way the emotion changes subtly from line to line... magnificent, thank you.. |
