Now Mummy is an Angel((L)for Kirsty(L))

by Holly H Dunne

Sweet baby girl, your mother's gone away
But she's not realyl gone, she's with you in another way
A mother/daughter bond is never gone; it runs too deep
Now her home is in your heart and her love is yours to keep
Instead of a kiss she'll send you a sunbeam
Instead of seeing her awake, you'll see her when you dream
She'll send you a rainbow when she can't hold your hand
And when its hard to sleep, she'll bless your eyes with sand
Instead of stroking your hair, she'll send a gentle breeze
Instead of singing you to sleep, you'll hear her song across the seas
Now she's your Guardian Angel, watching from above
And she'll always and forever send you all her love
Right now, I know it hurts, seems nothing dulls the pain
But remember there would be no flowers unless three was some rain
Though you cannot touch her and though her body's gone
Her spirit is inside you and through you she lives on.

Hi Holly, Just read your poem. It's soo beauitful, yet so sad. To lose a Mother isn't easy, specially at a young age. It's hard on ya no matter what the age is. Your wrote it so beautiful and I'm sure it will help others too. It makes ya want to cry. May ya find Peace within yourself soon. Peace & Joy, Jean.
