Spat At The World

by Jersey D Gibson

Dear God, Dear Life,
why did you subject me to this cruel fate,
why do I want to live it at all?
Dear Mother, Dear Father,
what teen-aged lessons did you give me to learn,
when you abandoned me at the adoption home?
Dear Teacher, Dear Teacher,
kids pick and beat on me every day,
don't you dare turn that damn blind eye!
Dear Stranger, Dear Parent,
you're pedophilic urges disgust me,
do yourself a favor and stick it in yourself.
Dear Welfare, Dear Social Security,
you raised me to be nothing, and you taught me well,
society forces me to stand in this breadline.
Dear Whore, Dear Kids,
subject you to this worthless life myself,
is it any wonder I deal and do drugs?
Dear Old Age, Dear Regret,
nothing good have I done with my life,
but it wasn't like I had much choice at all.
Dear Infirmary, Dear Senility,
now that I'm nothing more than a broken down shell,
just a shadow of my own corrupt abused self.
Dear Death, Dear Release,
come take me in your arms from this hell I called life,
take me back to whince I came forever more.
