I Can't Shake The Feeling by Anne EngelenIve spent hours trying to figure out
Whats wrong with this world?
Whats wrong with me?
Whats wrong with everyone?
Whats wrong with what I see?
Ive tried to explain it in my mind
Looked for the answers I couldnt find
Friends told me its not for me to understand
Its beyond human comprehension
Its in Gods hand
They shrug and go on
Why does that feel wrong?
I cant shake the feeling of being part of it all
Which makes me co-responsible (for the ultimate fall)
Maybe its a burden one shouldnt take on
But if no one does when will this craziness be done?
I cant shake the thought of what if
each one of us would take on a little blame
and would try to right whats wrong in their own little world The overall outcome OUR world wouldnt be the same 10/17/2002 Posted on 10/17/2002 Copyright © 2024 Anne Engelen

Posted by Phil P Robson on 10/20/02 at 10:21 PM Succesive generations have pondered over these questions, physicists, psychologists, historians etc. And the greatest minds have come up with some answers, by being able to step outside and look objectively at "our" existence. It is not abnormal to have such feelings, just imagine if Newton, Einstein, Galileo, pythagorus, freud etc... had not considered a problem everyone else thought was indecipherable. The fundamental questions are the most difficult to understand, yet the most important to our identity. For me, considering the problem, even without finding an answer is so much more important than living in a reality dominated by superficiality. |
