all of these forget-me-nots
are stilled. silence beckoned
and they answered the call.
remember me when and now we
falter. never kept head up
high enough and God doesn't
want to look. car crash victim
and we close our eyes we close
our everything is tarnished.

did you know that words were permanent

and sometimes i look in the
mirror and take note of all
of these forget-me-nots and
how they came to be. will i
remember this remember every
thing. cool tile and sterile
rooms wake dreams lives and
noone is ever there. forever
we sing and hope laid out up
on hope. now tally it up and
dance with all of these
forget-me-nots and how they
came to be.
