what works for some just doesn't work for others.
and maybe the louder you speak the less likely they
are to really hear you
and i've never been so clumsy as i am now
tongue becoming too thick for my mouth
and they know
that i've been drinking again.

it's all a matter of opinion as to how much is too much
and the things we do, the acts we mistakenly act out
can be measured individually as to how bad or ok they are.

and the people too.
the people we sometimes can't help but hate even though
there's so much love.
so much love.

and some of us burn burn burn all things everything
and you can't help but (almost admire) them while holding on
for dear life.

and some of us aren't so lucky, get caught up too much in
the burning and never pay attention to the flame
that eventually burns us out.
