I Miss You

by John Harder

I miss you being with me
I miss you missing me
when I only left the room
I miss the way you'd steal a hug,
and then I'd give another freely
I miss the way you half smile,
when you looked in my eyes
I miss the bumps you send down my spine
I miss waking up near you
I miss waking you up to say good morning
I miss your smile,
and how it makes me smile too
I miss not having to miss you,
cause you were right there with me
I can't wait to miss the times,
when all I did was miss you

I can relate to this poem entirely. It is painful to miss a person.
