Rainbow Tears by Holly H DunneWith anger and passion I wept and I bled
The rainbow began and the first tear was red
The second was orange as I cried away my health
While you stole my crumbling sanity with cruelty and stealth
Your jealousy cried me tear number three
Green drops spelled out why you tortured me
A blue tear for last year's summer skies
Raining severed bonds and whispered goodbyes
For my lost inner peace I cried indigo tears
Replaced by inner turmoil, lonliness and fears
By the end of the rainbow my tears were violet
Reflecting on memories, now the laughter is silent
And for my rainbow I found a use
I tied it round my neck and made myself a noose
Death by sucide, hung from her rainbow made of tears
Death by suicide, aged 17 years. 09/23/2002 Posted on 09/23/2002 Copyright © 2025 Holly H Dunne
