black swan

by Ginette T Belle

I am a black swan
Just wrong
Just unthinkable that those liquid eyes
Could rest upon mine
And finally declare freedom from seemed perfection
Searching for bedtime romping in her stare
He's half way to stardom
Straight past contradictory open arms
Soon I'll be drinking tasteless champagne
Blinded by the white
