Fatal

by Amanda J Cobb

That smile
and those eyes
bad enough on their own
together, a deadly combination
The smile that invariably sparks my own
and the eyes that beg me to drown in them,
in the blue sky you somehow stole a piece of.
Fatally irresistible
(as if I ever wanted to resist anyway)
and I don't even care if I die
with your eyes and smile as my light
and your arms as my grave.
