Interesting Session by Anne EngelenToday I realized that being alive doesn't automatically require the need of a shrink. It's okay to be different, to be yourself. It's okay to wonder and think. Not coping, or being lost in certain situations is a problem to society, needing to be solved. Before you know, shrink-sessions will be involved. Being a produce of our time I have my personal shrink, she's all mine. To humour the fellow occupants of my world, I went to today's session against my will. Yet, feeling officially crazy, still I entered her office open minded. All that's been ever told got professionally rewinded. That turned out to be real interesting. I heard myself talk and watched her trace that down to some childhood happening. I loved the challenge to get into her brain, tracing her thoughtful steps so vain. Somehow this session was worth her pay, she made it interesting for me to stay!

How many are too vain to realise they're being studied?
Variety - also the spice of poetry...belated appreciation from my smouldering tongue. |
