Why Sleep? by Anne EngelenSeductively wrapped by sweet nothings whispered forming a cocoon
A magical place where ecstasy's raised and fantasies bloom
Hearing, not the words but the breathing
Feeling, the fantasy come to life
My touch, directly leading me to some kind of afterlife
Satisfied, numb and dazed you leave me incredibly amazed
You, the key to this new eternity sleep's no longer a part of me
