Summer Trilogy haiku

by David R Spellman

I. Mowed Grass

the shear difference
makes us forget the loss and
remember the smell

II. Fresh Flowers

would they smell as sweet
left freely to grow alone
never to be pruned

III. Bounty

garden fresh produce
is well appreciated
table additions
