Gethsemane

by Charles M Harrison

Just a man like you and me.
Just a man at Gethsemane.
In the garden where he fell to pray,
Asking his father's comfort for the price he must pay.
In the agony of that hour
He sought God's love and his power.
He sought his will, what must be done
He knew within his time had come.
With the dawn at Calvary's cross.
His heart at ease he paid the cost.
