Clouded

by Ryan M Evon

Darkened clouds that seal cold fate.
Harsh wind blows them faster now,
Bringing the truth of old to this date.

Nevermore and never again will
The broken mirror not show cold truth
Even now it reflects I'm ugly still.

Broken hopes and dreams that sting
Everyday thoughts to the point of
Making my eyes tainted towards everything.

Small gaps in the overcast shows the blue.
The color overpowers the grey,
Letting the warm sunshine break through.

Negative and positive go hand in hand,
But going on alone I will not stand.
