Ain't it funny, how the ones that hurt us most deeply are the ones we tinker with in our minds the most? I have to agree with Ms. Ferriera that the turn of phrase "stopped keeping time and still keeping me" is really well done--it probably makes the poem. Glad this piece was brought to my attention. |

I agree with previous commentors, the line "stopped keeping time and still keeping me" is one of the best in the whole thing. Very well done, emotional and beautiful. Nice work. |
